National Accounts Program

Welcome to the TIC-MS, Inc.  National Accounts Program

This program provides our National Accounts a variety of  options to customize the Calibration Compliance Program developed by TIC-MS, Inc. to provide 100 % compliance to all ISO/QS/TS and other regulatory and advisory agencies up to and including Nuclear.

Program highlights consist of the following:

*  Web Page based reports and status of work in processTIC-MS, Inc. makes all of your certificates of calibration available to you from anywhere in the world. This includes your historical certificates as well.

Want to know what the status is of work in process in our lab or to verify your on site dates ? You can do it 24 hours a day , 7 days a week, 365 days a year from anywhere in the world!

*  OLM  complimentary gauge tracking system - TIC-MS, Inc. is not interested in selling software, rather TIC-MS, Inc. is very interested in providing a full and comprehensive calibration program for its customers. For this reason the OLM program was designed to assist National Accounts Customers with large quantities of gauges in multiple plant locations in maintaining total gauge identification and control to meet all elements of relevant ISO/QS/TS  standards.

When TIC-MS, Inc. meet with various National Account representatives to design the program the message from these representatives was loud and clear. Almost every representative had  21 common  elements that they believed were critical to a successful program and these elements are the keystone to the OLM  ( On Line Metrology ) program.

It was determined that the OLM program must :

a.     From the shop floor be able to get instrument status, See the last calibration certificate electronically for gauge capability,  Know when the instrument  is due for cal and all identification particulars in the event the stickers has been destroyed or lost. Be able to do all in the read only mode from the shop floor and then make available for global inter plant queries and edit capabilities by approved security level personnel

b.     Full password and firewall protection with resident virus protection

c.      Unbreakable system – never lock up computer if user violates protocol – always return to main menu – never lock up computer

d.     Be available to query from a individual PC or across a network

e.     Be able to dump query results into management reports for Excel, Word for Windows, DOS file, Rich text file , and so forth

f.       Be able to update profiles automatically

g.     Be allowed to receive all future updates free by web down load into program

h.     Account for all gauges regardless of who does the calibration

i.      LOAD ALL  DATA FROM CERTIFICATES OF CALIBRATION BY UPLOAD
ELECTRONICALLY – NO KEYSTROKING OF DATA INTO THE SYSTEM

j.       Provide for direct link between gauges and gauge R&R studies

k.     Provide electronic retrieval of calibration certificates as well as R&R

l.       Provide multi key word, phrase, alphanumeric query capabilities

m.   Provide point and click instructions for all activities – NO KEYSTROKING

n.     Provide for instruments recall ( not just calibrated items ) by automatic notice and secondarily by customized date ranges

o.     Provide for segregation and identification of MRB, Inactive, Calibrate before use, calibrate after use, items with bad trending history, items with excessive wear that need to be replaced before the next cal cycle, items by their calibration cycle intervals and finally by use of a customizable field be able to do a search on a random factor

p.     Provide for a tool crib function – who has the instrument now, what department, who had it before this, where will it be returned when the user is done with it, total items checked out globally sorted by location, by name, by date , by department

q.     Cross reference index of all numbering schemes by all plant locations and sort /query for global.

r.      Be interactive and allow changes by program account manager

s.      Create automatic packing lists and asset list

t.      Create automatic pricing of items due for cal to allow purchasing time to generate a P.O. and to do quarterly budgets

u.     Provide for this to be on an individual PC or across a network

Lastly they demanded resident technical support at TIC-MS, Inc. without  fear of the dreaded  “ sorry we no longer support that program “ phone call

Mobile Lab services For multi plant location National Accounts TIC-MS, Inc. maintains a Mobile Lab that may be used for In-Situ calibrations and fixture measurements. This Mobile Lab can be brought right to your facility and the environmentally controlled Mobile Lab may be used to satisfy rigid control requirements. Full and proper calibrations of Physical/Dimensional equipment as well as almost all kinds of Electronic calibrations can be performed right at your facility.

Backed up by full multifaceted Laser equipment, calibration, fixture validation, R&R studies, PPAP, ISIR and other ISO/QS requirements can now have third party calibration and validation from an A2LA Accredited Laboratory without expensive and potentially dangerous shipping of materials to fixed laboratory locations around the country.

Multi Year Contract guaranteeNational Account customers may lock into a three year contract for fixed pricing and services with a blanket P.O. and even budget billing – Email  bill@ticms.com for particulars

Competitive Advantage Program –  Customers on a three year contract will receive the competitive advantage protection plan if they so desire.  The competitive advantage program guarantees a competitive price for any instrument under the three year contract if a competitor of TIC-MS, Inc. offers a lesser fee for the same calibration/documentation service for that instrument. Under this program you will always receive the most competitive price for calibration services, regardless of who offers it.

Unique Acceptance criteria and calibration interval program National  Accounts can customize their acceptance criteria on a gauge by gauge basis to more closely match the end use of that instrument , they can also change the criteria at any time and/or change the interval based on trends provided by TIC-MS, Inc as part of the CCP program.

Customized spare parts inventory planCustomers that have  spare parts needs for critical application instruments where the spare parts have unacceptable lead times or where the spare parts back up an older gauge that is no longer supported by the manufacturer may arrange for TIC-MS, Inc. to maintain critical spare parts inventory

The totally exclusive calibration and instrument service plan. – In 1987 our management team met with various Quality Managers from over 50 St. Louis based companies. These were small and large companies covering a wide variety of Calibration requirements.

The purpose of this marathon survey was to compile a list of those requirements that each participant considered important to their Quality programs in regards to calibration and independent laboratories who provide calibration services.

After several months and many revisions of a proposed comprehensive plan TIC-MS, Inc. introduced the " Calibration Compliance Program " ( CCP ) . TIC-MS, Inc. copyrighted this program and introduced it in October of 1987.

Since that time the CCP program has become the industry standard against which all other programs are compared.

The CCP program offers the following :
